"Edgartown Light Reflection" is a fine art photograph from Martha’s Vineyard artist Debra Gaines. This rendition is filled with color and still waters inspired by the brilliant light of the mid morning which also reflects the beauty of the sky and of the iconic Edgartown Lighthouse, grasses and beautiful shoreline.

This beautiful capture of the Edgartown Lighthouse was a nice surprise which I had not anticipated and was humbled in acquiring On this particular morning, I was on my was to my yoga class, but tI turned left where I was supposed to turn right because the light was so beautiful. I meandered down by the waterfront in front of the lighthouse and decided to stand on one of the docks. I tossed my camera bag on the dock then when to pull myself up, only to realize that it wasn’t yoga that I needed, but strength training & core work.

Fortunately my daughter rescued me via a boat. My camera was saved & I was so lucky to capture this scene from such a beautiful vantage point. This image makes me feel both grateful and humble when ever I see it. It also reminds me to check in and see if I can pull myself up onto that dock yet!
